Engines 5076, SF 5024, 8072, 8095, and 8028 are pulling hard as train NN050 lumbers up hill to Palmer Lake at Tomah, CO on September 20, 1987. This train loaded at the Spring Creek mine in Montana and is headed to Fort Worth then via exATSF to Houston Power and Light W. A. Parish plant at Smithers Lake, TX. The plant is the fifth largest coal fired power plant in the US.
