Caboose 999326 bobs along on the rear of train 804 as it passes through Sunshine on February 17, 1988. From Sunshine to Darling, the tracks swing north away from the freeway. The tracks cross the impressive Canyon Diablo bridge six miles further west. The double track bridge was completed in 1947 and eliminated the last segment of gauntlet track between Barstow and Belen.
