Here on November 8, 1977, SP Extra 9286 East is slowly coming up the siding at Bealville as Santa Fe Extra 5035 West drops downgrade on the mainline. When moving tonnage over the mountain, the dispatcher often has to do whatever keeps the train rolling and causes minimal delay to priority trains.
