Train 968 (Extra 5555 East) is approaching tunnel 2 on November 21, 1977. This train is the successor to the GWS symbol that operated from the Pacific Northwest via the Great Northern down the Deschutes River and Inside Gateway via the Western Pacific and turned over to the Santa Fe at Stockton.
