Train GGM (Extra 9030 West) has stopped just south of Paso Robles to give the local engine 9049 on February 13, 1974. Engine 8892 on the local has gone sour and won't load. With engine 9049 tucked away on the spur, the units recouple to their train and head on to Watsonville Junction.

The end of the celery and lettuce harvests is around March. California produces about 75% of the celery and 80% of the leaf lettuce for the nation. Disk 52
