Carbon County Railway coal train at Columbia Jct.

The Carbon County Railway was only eleven miles long and served two mines at Columbia. The railway interchanged with the D&RGW at Columbia Junction on the Sunnyside Branch. Engines 1202 and 1201 are placing the caboose on the empties at Columbia Junction on November 10, 1976. Rio Grande Extra 3077 West will take the loads to US Steel at Geneva, UT.
