At times there is just more scenery than you can pack into a camera. I've had to use a vertical format and a wide angle lens to capture everything. Via Train 1 glides downgrade from the upper spiral tunnel and ducks under the Trans-Canada Highway on July 18, 1981. The passenger train has engines 1406, 8508, and 8515.

An observation dome car bring up the rear. The train is headed for the lower spiral tunnel. Yoho is at milepost 130 on the Laggan Subdivision.
