Canadian Pacific Train 44 at Fort Steele, BC

The train on the left is a loaded coal train out of Sparwood. Coming into the picture from the right is train 44 out of Cranbrook. Engine 5822 (second unit on the coal train) is low on water and was shut down. The crew added water at the junction and restarted the engine.

This is the junction at Fort Steele, milepost 95 on the Cranbrook subdivision, and the start of the Windermere Subdivision north to Golden.
