Extra 5859 West waits for a crew change at Field, BC on June 28, 1979. That is Mount Stephen in the background. This is probably one of my favorite pictures from British Columbia. If there were ever a contest for train pictures that displayed the majesty of God, I would think that this should be one of the contenders. God's creation makes this heavy grain train look small and insignificant. |
