Canadian National eastbound empty grain train waiting in the siding at Floods, BC

We were setting up camp at a little campground at Floods, BC (about five miles west of Hope) when I heard the rumble of diesels on an eastbound train. Ruth was off to do laundry and I grabbed the camera and took off to get some more pictures. It was evening and I knew I only had about another 20 minutes of daylight left. A cloud blocked the sun during the meet, but parted long enough for me to catch these shots of the eastbound leaving the siding.

The CN installed CTC from Boston Bar to Port Mann in 1959. I can only assume that all of the other mainline segments between here and Edmonton had CTC installed during the 1960s. I can't find specific information on this. Disk 4
