Nick was delighted to catch the illusive Union Pacific. Train LAM stopped in City of Industry to do some switching. The lighting wasn't good there so we moved to Whittier Jct. The train has engines 3170, 78B, 74, and 3287. The track in the foreground is the SP branch from City of Industry to Studebaker. UP's East Los Angeles Yard is just seven miles ahead.
