Santa Fe caboose 999416 and train 869 are in the long siding at Woodford, CA on October 31, 1976. Coming up the main line is extra 8740 east with many loads of lumber from the Pacific Northwest. Train 869 was the old SWG symbol before the big change to all numbered train symbols in 1971. It handled traffic for Portland and Seattle via the WP from Stockton to the BN connection at Bieber on the Inside Gateway.
