Railroad Caboose Picture Gallery
The railroad caboose picture gallery looks back on the days when cabooses were common on railroads across North America. My home turf is the desert southwest and my two favorite railroads are the Santa Fe Railway and the Southern Pacific Railroad. However, I have tried to give examples from many railroads and many different parts of the country. The gallery is divided into four sections: Canada, Eastern United States, Western US, and Mexico. I also have tried to add some historical notes about each railroad caboose in the picture caption, but I've had a hard time finding good information. If you know the history of some of these cabooses, let me know and I will add your information and give you credit.
All of the pictures in the gallery are linked together. So to view all of the pictures in this set, start with the BC Hydro and then click the right arrow at the bottom of each picture page.
