Missouri Pacific caboose on UP train symbol FWWT at Saginaw, TX

Train FWWT is crossing the Santa Fe mainline at Saginaw on a warm March afternoon in 1989. Extra 3810 has 110 cars. Most of these cars are empty covered hoppers returning to western Kansas for grain loading. The train is on the former Rock Island line from Fort Worth, TX to Wichita, KS. The MKT acquired this trackage when the Rock went bankrupt and the UP merged with the MP and WP. The MKT was taken over by the UP in August 1988. MP caboose 13668 was built in 1976.
