Train RVSJA (Extra 6508 West) is going over the top of the pass at Altamont on September 17, 1976. The train will hang a left at Niles Tower and go to San Jose. The SP abandoned their line over the pass in 1984 and used trackage rights over the former Western Pacific. Disk 25 |
