ATSF Railway train symbol 883 on deck girder bridge over Holy Moses Wash near Kingman, AZ

In the top picture, ATSF Railway train symbol 973 (Extra 5663 East) crosses Holy Moses Wash in Kingman Canyon on July 16, 1979. The dirt road to the right of the lead unit is the original US 66. In the second picture, train symbol 883 is crossing the same deck girder bridge on November 1, 1977. The train has engines 5582, 5661, and 5002. The bridge over Holy Moses Wash was built in 1923 when the ATSF Railway added a second track between Griffith and Kingman. Disk 73
