Train NPST leaves Palisade on September 16, 1987. It has engines 2444, 3481, and SP7311 pulling 63 loads, 12 empties, at 6,656 tons. This was the northern terminal for the Eureka & Palisade Railroad. You can still see their approach to the town at the top of the bridge.
