There was a time in the "Good Old Days" when the artwork on the sides of freight cars came from a piece of chalk instead of out of a spray can. Probably the most prolific and the best piece of box car art (in my wife's opinion) was Herby. For those of you that are wondering what on earth Herby was and what do I mean by box car art, I have set up the following pages.
