After helping a train up to Sand Patch, a three unit helper set is running lite back to Hyndman. I am on the second unit and we are about to enter Falls Cut Tunnel. The tunnel was cut through the mountain in 1897 and is 517 feet long. One of the problems of taking pictures on a locomotive is the reflections from the glass. |

Two weeks earlier and I'm on the last unit of another helper set. It is late afternoon and shadows are getting longer as we exit Falls Cut Tunnel. Disk 119 |
