Train 91 is at Palmer Lake on May 16, 1992. It has engines 3128, 4097, and 2712. Palmer Lake is one of the finest train watching spots in the country. There is a small park on the east side of the lake with picnic tables. The park road and walking trail are on the old Santa Fe right of way. There is a steady stream of freight trains (primarily coal) running by on the other side of the lake on the original Rio Grande right of way.
