Santa Fe piggyback train symbol 199 with engines 9540, 9506, 5146, and 5007 is just exiting Tunnel 2 between Bealville and Caliente on June 9, 1987. It will meet train 991 at Caliente. Normally, I would have driven to a small parking area on top of the tunnel, however, we had been up there earlier in the day and discovered a dead goat. The stench and the flies drove us away.
