Union Pacific piggyback train LADET Barstow

My good friend, Reverend Nick Krantz, caught the LADET sailing through Barstow on "The Day." It is August 7, 1987 at 1000AM. Train symbol SLCF (Salt Lake Colorado Fruit) began in the 60s operating between Salt Lake City and Denver and changed to SDX (Salt Lake Denver) on Oct. 28, 1980. It was changed to the LADEX on August 14, 1984 originating in Los Angeles and became the LADET in early 1986. It was deleted later in 1987 with Denver piggyback and auto traffic going to the LACSZ.
