Union Pacific train HKYR Bannock

Train HKYR is tied down at Bannock siding for the Memorial Day holiday in 1996. It has engines 9327 and 6357 with 75 loads, 16 empties, 9,403 tons. Union Pacific train HKYR began in the early 70s as the PLA (Portland, Los Angeles) and became the HLA (Hinkle, Los Angeles) on May 10, 1983. It became the HKLA in the mid-80s and became the HKYR in late 1988.
