All good things must come to an end. On the last day of the trip I was making the long trek from Amarillo back to Dallas on US 287. The wind was still blowing, but not as bad as the previous day so I was able to do more videotaping. And the Lord provided a train to chase. Although this is one of the high priority piggyback trains headed to Alliance, the dispatcher was in no rush to get this train into Alliance Yard. Since it was Friday and these piggyback trailers would probably sit at the terminal most of the weekend, this train got stabbed several times. |

The CJRMSLP goes into the siding at Chillicothe to let the ZLACALT run around it. The new silos at the right side of the picture enable the facility to load a 110 car unit grain train and take advantage of the lower shipping rates. |
