The LSWE111 (Southwestern Division local) eases into the east end of Gallup. Most of the cars on the train were picked up at Zuni, six miles east of town. The next morning engines 141 and 128 would haul about 30 empty hoppers out to the south tipple on the Defiance Spur for loading.
