At McCartys a westbound stack train (SALTLHW) meets an empty coal train (ECRDJRM). The units on the coal train have just passed over Interstate 40. The units on the stack train are going over a bridge that carried the line over US 66. The longer bridge was added in 1961 during construction of the freeway. The coal train had engines 6031, 8804, 9333, and 9472 plus DPU engines 9959 and 5820. There is now a fence between the tracks and highway making photography here more difficult.
